An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Execution Supervisor (Asset Integrity Team) to join a leading Queensland mining company on a long-term contract through to December 2028.
This role is responsible for the safe, efficient, and high-quality execution of structural remediation and asset integrity works within a complex fixed plant environment. Reporting into the Asset Integrity team, you will provide visible leadership, manage contractor performance, and ensure work is delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily execution of structural maintenance, access, coatings, and concrete remediation works
- Supervise contractors and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and technical standards
- Facilitate pre-starts and ensure critical controls and Life Saving Rules are understood and applied
- Drive execution performance through effective planning, coordination, and resource management
- Monitor progress, productivity, costs, and workfront performance
- Verify Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), QA/QC requirements, and work package closeout documentation
- Coordinate urgent works, defect remediation, and execution readiness activities
- Support incident investigations and continuous improvement initiatives
- Build strong relationships across Production, Maintenance, Engineering, and Operations teams
- Mechanical trade qualification or engineering background
- Proven experience leading contractors in mining, fixed plant, processing, shutdown, or heavy industrial environments
- Strong background in asset integrity, structural remediation, maintenance execution, or infrastructure maintenance programs
- Sound understanding of safety systems, permits, risk management, and critical controls
- Experience managing quality assurance processes, ITPs, and compliance requirements
- Demonstrated leadership capability with a disciplined, outcomes-focused approach
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills
- Experience within coal, CHPP, minerals processing, or similar operations highly regarded
