Hourly Rate:$42.93 per hour + super
Location: 311 Glenferrie Road, Malvern
Work Arrangement: 3 days per week in the office 2 WFH (currently Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, subject to change based on team and business requirements)
We are seeking a Community Engagement Practitioner to support the delivery of community engagement activities that help shape projects, strategies and initiatives.
Working within the CX & Engagement team, you will assist in implementing engagement plans, gathering and analysing community feedback, supporting consultation activities, and producing reports that ensure community voices are effectively communicated to decision-makers.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the planning and delivery of community engagement activities across a range of projects and initiatives
- Assist in the development of engagement plans and consultation approaches
- Prepare consultation reports, engagement summaries and project documentation
- Collect, analyse and interpret engagement data and community feedback
- Support the management and maintenance of a digital engagement platform
- Coordinate online and face-to-face engagement activities, including venue bookings, permits, invitations and RSVPs
- Work closely with internal stakeholders and communications teams to develop engagement content and promotional materials
- Provide regular updates to project managers and key stakeholders
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and organisational engagement capability
- Experience in community consultation and stakeholder engagement
- Strong project coordination and organisational skills
- Excellent written communication and report-writing capabilities
- Experience analysing engagement data and preparing consultation reports
- Confidence using digital engagement tools and technology platforms
- Strong relationship-building and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively within established timeframes
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach and growth mindset
- Tertiary qualification in Communications, Social Sciences or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience
- Community engagement experience within local government, public sector or similar environments will be highly regarded
- IAP2 Certification or equivalent experience is desirable
