Maintenance Electrician
Location: Acacia Ridge, QLD
Pay Rate: $53.56/hr + Penalties + Extensive Overtime Available
Are you an experienced Industrial Electrician looking for a long-term opportunity with excellent earning potential?
We are currently seeking a Maintenance Electrician to join a well-established and safety focused manufacturing operation based in Acacia Ridge. This is a hands on role within a busy maintenance team, supporting the reliability and performance of a large industrial facility.
With plenty of overtime available, including weekends, afternoon shifts and night shifts, this role offers the opportunity to significantly increase your experience and weekly earnings.
About the Role
As a Maintenance Electrician, you will play a critical role in keeping plant equipment operating safely and efficiently. The position will involve a combination of reactive breakdown maintenance and planned preventative maintenance across a range of machinery and production equipment.
Key responsibilities include:
· Fault finding and troubleshooting electrical issues
· Reactive maintenance on production and processing equipment
· Preventative maintenance programs and inspections
· Maintenance and repair of overhead cranes and associated systems
· Electrical testing and diagnostics
· Supporting continuous improvement initiatives
· Working collaboratively with production and maintenance teams
· Ensuring all work is completed in accordance with safety standards
To be successful in this role, you will have:
· Current Queensland Electrical Licence
· Previous experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
· Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
· Experience with PLC-controlled equipment highly regarded
· Exposure to overhead cranes and heavy industrial machinery advantageous
· Commitment to workplace safety
· Ability to work rotating shifts and overtime as required
· Strong communication and teamwork skills
