We're seeking an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to support the construction, commissioning and energisation of major renewable energy infrastructure, including utility-scale solar, HV substations, BESS, transmission and power distribution assets.
This is a long-term contract opportunity offering 12+ months of work, a 2/1 FIFO roster, and the chance to contribute to nationally significant projects driving the transition to Real Zero.

About the Role
You'll provide engineering and construction support across the full project lifecycle, including:
- HV substations and electrical infrastructure
- Power transformers, switchgear and protection systems
- Solar farm Electrical Balance of Plant (EBoP)
- Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)
- Testing, commissioning and energisation activities
- Contractor, OEM and stakeholder management
- Technical governance, compliance and quality assurance
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
- 5+ years' experience delivering major electrical infrastructure projects
- Strong experience with HV substations and power distribution systems
- Construction, commissioning and energisation experience
- Experience working with contractors, OEMs and commissioning teams
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
- Utility-scale solar experience
- BESS project experience
- Mining, transmission or renewable energy project background
- CPEng status or working towards chartership
