About the Role
We are seeking a highly capable Electrical Construction Supervisor to support increased workload across BHP WAIO’s Central Pilbara Engineering portfolio.
Reporting to the Construction Superintendent, this role will see you overseeing contractor teams across Area C, South Flank, and JUGARI mine sites, delivering critical HV & LV electrical project works, including MCC replacements.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a major iron ore producer on an initial 6-month contract, with an ASAP start and strong potential for extension.
You will play a key role in ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient execution of construction activities, while working closely with stakeholders to maintain continuity and quality across project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise contractor teams delivering HV and LV electrical projects, including MCC replacements
- Ensure strict compliance with OH&S policies and site safety procedures
- Conduct daily engagement with crews to drive a strong safety culture
- Manage contractor performance, scope alignment, and interface coordination
- Liaise with Engineering and Project teams to resolve technical and scope issues
- Deliver accurate daily progress reporting
- Review and approve documentation for construction, maintenance, and commissioning activities
- Maintain high standards of quality and workmanship across all project phases
- $112.00 per hour + super PAYG
- 8:6 FIFO roster (ex-Perth)
- Initial 6-month contract with potential extension
- Superannuation paid on all hours worked

- Opportunity to work across multiple key BHP WAIO operations
- Electrical Trade Qualification with valid WA Electrical Licence
- 5+ years’ experience in electrical construction within mining environments
- Proven experience supervising contractor-based project works
- Strong background in HV & LV electrical systems
- Section 26 qualification including WHS components
- Electrical Shock & Incident Investigation Course Completed
- Current First Aid | CPR and white card
- Prior BHP site experience highly regarded
- Ability to work independently and proactively manage workload
- Previous experience across multiple site environments advantageous
