About the Role
Our Client is seeking an experienced Electrical Construction Supervisor to support the delivery of major green power, renewable energy and mining infrastructure projects across Western Australia.
This role is responsible for the safe and effective day‑to‑day supervision of electrical construction activities across large‑scale projects including substations, transmission lines, solar farms, battery energy storage systems (BESS) and associated power infrastructure.
You will provide strong frontline leadership to contractors and site‑based crews while ensuring safety, quality and schedule outcomes are achieved in a remote FIFO construction environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily electrical construction activities across assigned work fronts
- Lead, coordinate and manage contractor crews and site personnel
- Ensure all works are performed safely and in compliance with Our Client’s HSE standards
- Conduct pre‑start meetings, toolbox talks and field safety inspections
- Monitor progress against construction schedules and escalate risks or delays
- Coordinate permits, isolations and access requirements for electrical works
- Verify work quality and compliance with drawings, specifications and standards
- Support testing, commissioning and energisation activities
- Maintain strong communication with supervisors, contractors and project stakeholders
- Promote a positive safety culture and high‑performance team environment
Essential
- Electrical Trade Qualification with an unrestricted Electrical Licence
- Proven experience supervising electrical construction works in mining, industrial or renewable energy environments
- Demonstrated experience across substations, transmission lines, solar farms, BESS or industrial power infrastructure
- Previous experience working in remote FIFO environments
- Strong contractor supervision and leadership capability
- Current WA Driver’s Licence
- HV Switching qualification or authorisation
- Experience in construction and commissioning of HV substations
- Experience on renewable energy or decarbonisation projects
- First Aid qualification
- Certificate IV in Frontline Management or similar
