Our client, a leading national foodservice distribution company, is currently seeking reliable and safety-focused MR Delivery Drivers to join their Canberra team on a casual basis.
With immediate start opportunities available, this role offers flexible ad hoc shifts across Monday to Saturday. For the right candidates, there is also the potential to transition into a permanent full-time position, with current full-time vacancies available within the business.
About the Role As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering products to customers throughout Canberra and surrounding areas, ensuring deliveries are completed safely, accurately, and on time. This is a customer-facing role that requires a professional attitude, strong work ethic, and a commitment to safety and service excellence.
What's on Offer
- $42.50 per hour(inclusive of casual loading)
- Ad hoc shifts available Monday to Saturday
- Typically 8-hour shifts with potential overtime

- Safely operate an MR truck to complete scheduled deliveries
- Load and unload products safely and efficiently
- Deliver orders accurately and on time
- Provide excellent customer service at delivery sites
- Complete delivery documentation and paperwork accurately
- Comply with workplace health and safety and food safety requirements
- Maintain a professional presentation and represent our client positively
- A current MR Truck Licence
- A valid Working with Vulnerable People Check (WWVP)
- Previous delivery driving experience
- Good knowledge of Canberra and surrounding areas
- The ability to pass a pre-employment Drug and Alcohol Test
- The ability to pass a National Police Check
- A strong commitment to safety and compliance
- Excellent reliability, punctuality, and communication skills
- The physical capability to undertake manual handling duties
