We are currently seeking three Customer Support Officers to join a busy and supportive team based in Officer. These positions are available to provide short-term leave cover through to the end of September 2026 and offer an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience within a community-focused environment
About the Role:
As a Customer Support Officer, you will be the first point of contact for customer enquiries, providing professional and efficient service across a range of channels including phone, email, online platforms, and face-to-face interactions.
You will assist customers with enquiries, process requests and payments, maintain accurate records, and work closely with internal teams to ensure positive outcomes for the community.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality customer service via phone, email, online channels, and face-to-face enquiries.
- Respond to customer enquiries and provide accurate information regarding services and processes.
- Process customer requests, applications, forms, and payments accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records and update information across multiple systems.
- Resolve routine enquiries and escalate complex matters where required.
- Assist with general administrative tasks to support the Customer Support Team.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure timely and effective customer outcomes.
- Previous experience in customer service, contact centre, reception, or administration.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A customer-focused approach with the ability to handle enquiries professionally and efficiently.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Confidence using computer systems and learning new technology.
- Accurate data entry and administration skills.
- Experience processing payments or handling cash transactions will be highly regarded.
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
