Maitland | $37.39 per hour + Super | Contract Opportunity

Chandler Macleod is seeking experienced Customer Service Representatives to join a busy customer service team based in Maitland.

This is an opportunity for customer-focused professionals to provide high-quality support, manage customer enquiries, and deliver positive outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role As a Customer Service Representative, you will assist customers with a range of enquiries, provide accurate information, resolve issues, and ensure a positive customer experience.

You will work in a high-volume customer service environment where strong communication skills, attention to detail, and professionalism are essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to customer enquiries and provide accurate information
  • Manage and resolve customer complaints and escalated enquiries
  • Maintain accurate customer records and complete administration tasks
  • Navigate multiple systems and processes effectively
  • Deliver professional and customer-focused service
  • Work collaboratively within a supportive team environment
About You We are seeking candidates with:

  • 2–3 years’ experience in customer service, contact centre, administration, retail, or similar customer-facing roles
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills and customer focus
  • Ability to remain calm and professional when handling challenging situations
  • Strong attention to detail and accurate data entry skills
  • Confidence using technology and learning new systems
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook and Teams
Previous government experience is advantageous but not essential.

Important Requirements
  • Must be available to attend an in-person assessment centre in Maitland on Thursday 16/07/2026
  • Must be available to complete onsite training and onboarding
  • Must be based in NSW and able to travel to the Maitland location when required
Contract Details
  • Location: Maitland
  • Start Date: 31 July 2026
  • Contract End Date: 30 January 2027
  • Hours: 35 hours per week (7 hours per day)
  • Roster: Monday to Friday rotating roster between 7:00am and 7:00pm
  • Pay Rate: $37.39 per hour + Super
  • Pre-employment checks: Police Check and two reference checks required
