Customer Service Officer (Local Council)
Location: Doncaster, VIC
Hours: Part-time (15–30 hours per week)
Assignment: Short-term contract through to 30th September 2026
Work Type: Onsite

We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Officer to join a local council contact centre based in Doncaster.
This is a short-term opportunity providing coverage within a busy and customer-focused team.

About the Role
In this role, you will handle a high volume of inbound enquiries from residents, providing accurate information and support across a broad range of council services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Managing approximately 30–40 inbound calls per day
  • Responding to a wide variety of council-related enquiries
  • Delivering high-quality customer service in a fast-paced environment
  • Accurately recording and updating customer information
About You
  • Previous experience working in a local council contact centre is essential
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to manage a high volume of calls professionally and efficiently
  • Confident navigating systems and entering data accurately
  • Reliable and able to work onsite in Doncaster
