We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Officer to join a local council contact centre based in Doncaster.
This is a short-term opportunity providing coverage within a busy and customer-focused team.
About the Role
In this role, you will handle a high volume of inbound enquiries from residents, providing accurate information and support across a broad range of council services.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing approximately 30–40 inbound calls per day
- Responding to a wide variety of council-related enquiries
- Delivering high-quality customer service in a fast-paced environment
- Accurately recording and updating customer information
- Previous experience working in a local council contact centre is essential
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to manage a high volume of calls professionally and efficiently
- Confident navigating systems and entering data accurately
- Reliable and able to work onsite in Doncaster
