Kids’ Early Learning (KEL) is seeking a professional and customer‑focused Customer Service & Administration Officer to support our early learning services and deliver high‑quality service to families, staff and the broader community.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast‑paced, customer‑centric environment and takes pride in providing accurate information, strong administrative support and positive customer experiences.
About the Role
Reporting to the relevant KEL leader, you will be responsible for delivering frontline customer service and administrative support across multiple channels, including phone, email, online platforms and in person. You will ensure services operate efficiently, compliantly and in line with Council policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide information, advice and service to Kids’ Early Learning customers across all communication channels
- Deliver high‑quality customer service in a polite, professional and friendly manner
- Provide effective administrative support to KEL teams and Council stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, Council policies and regulatory requirements
- Maintain accurate records using customer management systems and childcare software
- Represent KEL positively and project a professional image at all times
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, demonstrating trust, respect, honesty and courtesy
- Act in accordance with the NSW Work Health and Safety Act 2011, WHS Regulation 2017 and KEL’s WHS systems
About You
Essential:
- Certificate of Attainment in a work‑related customer service or administration tertiary course
- Demonstrated customer service experience in a high‑volume or transactional environment
- Strong administration and organisational skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail
- Certificate or Diploma in Business Administration
- Knowledge of early childhood education and care legislation and regulations
- Above‑average communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong familiarity with website‑based and mobile childcare software applications
