About the Role
Chandler Macleod is seeking an experienced Coordinator Financial Accounting to lead financial accounting operations within a large public sector environment. This role will focus on delivering accurate reporting, ensuring compliance, and supporting financial performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee financial reporting and statutory compliance
- Manage general ledger, audits, and reporting processes
- Lead and support a financial accounting team
- Ensure adherence to accounting standards and internal controls
- Contribute to budgeting and financial performance reporting
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting or similar
- Proven experience in financial accounting leadership roles
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards and reporting
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
