An outstanding opportunity has arisen to join a globally recognised resources organisation, supporting the delivery of large-scale construction and mining projects from their Brisbane head office.
We are seeking a commercially astute Contracts Administrator with strong post-award project experience to play a pivotal role in managing contractor performance, commercial risk, and contract execution.
The Opportunity
Working within a high-performing projects team, you will take ownership of key commercial and contract management activities across major project delivery. This is a fast-paced, collaborative environment where your expertise will directly influence project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage contracts across the full post-award lifecycle
- Review and assess payment claims, variations, and extension of time (EOT) claims
- Provide clear, commercially sound advice to project stakeholders
- Identify, assess, and mitigate commercial risks
- Support effective contract performance and compliance
- Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary project teams while maintaining autonomy in your role
About You
To be successful, you will bring:
- Proven experience in contracts administration within construction or mining projects
- Strong knowledge of contract management principles and execution-phase delivery
- Demonstrated experience with claims management, variations, and EOT assessments
- Excellent commercial acumen and risk management capability
- Clear, confident communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to work independently in a structured, outcomes-driven environment
