Construction Supervisor – 220kV Transmission Line About the Role Our Client is looking for an experienced Construction Supervisor to support the delivery of a 220kV transmission line (monopole) project.

ROSTER: 2 weeks on/ 1 Week Off
6 MONTH Assignment
JULY Start

You will lead on-site construction activities including foundations, monopole erection, conductor stringing, and associated civil/electrical works, ensuring everything is delivered safely, on time, and to specification.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise daily construction activities on site
  • Coordinate crews, subcontractors, plant, and materials
  • Ensure works comply with project specs and approved methods
  • Monitor productivity, progress, and quality
  • Lead pre-starts, toolbox talks, and safety interactions
  • Conduct inspections and verify completed works
  • Liaise with client representatives and stakeholders
  • Support and mentor site personnel
Safety & Compliance
  • Drive a strong zero-harm safety culture
  • Ensure compliance with SWMS, JHAs, permits, and isolations
  • Identify and act on unsafe conditions
  • Support incident investigations and corrective actions
  • Ensure environmental and heritage requirements are met
Reporting & Quality
  • Complete daily/weekly reports and track progress
  • Maintain shift handovers and site records
  • Review ITRs and ensure ITP compliance
  • Manage hold points, defects, and NCR close-out
  • Maintain as-builts and project documentation
About You
  • Trade or engineering qualification (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years’ supervision experience on infrastructure/energy projects
  • Experience in HV transmission line construction
  • Strong knowledge of construction and quality processes
  • White Card & Driver’s Licence
  • Confident leader with strong communication skills
