This client‑side role involves leading self‑performed and contractor‑delivered civil earthworks, including bulk earthworks and scraper operations, in a safety‑focused mining environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate civil earthworks activities, including scraper fleets
- Lead self‑perform crews and contractors to meet safety, quality and schedule targets
- Provide strong safety and environmental leadership on site
- Manage daily contractor interfaces and work execution
- Proven experience in civil construction supervision
- ESSENTIAL: Proven experience supervising scraper operations and bulk earthworks
- Demonstrated HSE leadership in active or remote site environments
- Comfortable working FIFO and leading site‑based teams
- FIFO 16:12 roster – all travel paid and completed in work time
- FIFO from Brisbane or Cairns
- Leadership role with Rio
