We are seeking a Community Engagement & Landholder Liaison for a permanent, full-time role with our client based in Ardrossan. You will lead stakeholder engagement across the project region, building respectful, transparent, and lasting relationships with Aboriginal communities, landholders, regional stakeholders, and community groups.

Essential Requirements
Qualifications:
  • Current Australian driver’s licence
  • Relevant qualification in community engagement, stakeholder engagement, communications or similar
Experience:
  • Demonstrated experience (5+ years) in community engagement, stakeholder relations or landholder liaison (mining, infrastructure, energy or resources)
  • Proven experience working with Aboriginal corporations, Traditional Owner groups and culturally diverse communities
  • Experience engaging rural landholders and regional community stakeholders
Skills/Competencies:
  • Strong communication, facilitation and negotiation skills
  • Cultural competence and understanding of Aboriginal heritage and land rights (SA)
  • Ability to manage relationships with diverse stakeholders effectively
  • Ability to work independently, travel, and manage competing priorities
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation (Mining Act, Aboriginal Heritage Act, land access regulations) 
Desirable
  • Experience supporting land access, exploration or project activities
  • Experience working with or alongside government/regulatory bodies
  • Local knowledge or connections to the Yorke Peninsula/regional communities
  • Understanding of land access obligations in mining/exploration environments
