About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Cleaning Manager to lead operations at our Hope Valley site. This is a working management role, with a high percentage of time spent on the tools, alongside responsibility for managing and supporting a team.
You will play a key role in ensuring high standards of cleanliness, safety, and team performance, while maintaining smooth day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, supervise, and support a team
- Hands-on cleaning and maintenance duties ( high percentage of the role)
- Performance management, including coaching, feedback, and addressing issues
- Ensuring cleaning standards, WHS compliance, and site presentation are maintained
- Liaising with stakeholders to ensure service expectations are met
About You
To succeed in this role, you must:
- Be comfortable with a physically demanding, hands-on role involving significant cleaning and maintenance work
- Have proven people management and performance management experience
- Be confident managing team performance, including addressing underperformance
- Hold a driver’s licence (essential)
- Lead by example and be willing to work alongside your team every day
- Have strong communication and organisational skills
