Location: Wantirna South, VIC (Part Time/4 days onsite)
Rate:$650 per day + super
Contract: Short-term engagement through to 18 September 2026
Seeking an experienced Change Lead to support the delivery of a portfolio of technology and transformation initiatives. Working under the guidance of the Head of Portfolio Office and Enterprise Change, this role will play a key part in shaping and embedding effective change practices across Council.
This opportunity will focus on supporting large-scale ICT and Digital programs by applying a structured change management approach to improve processes, systems, and ways of working, ultimately enhancing organisational capability and customer outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply change management methodologies and tools to support adoption across a large-scale ICT roadmap
- Plan and coordinate core change activities, including communications, stakeholder engagement, training, and transition planning
- Conduct impact assessments, evaluate organisational readiness, and identify key stakeholders
- Define and track success metrics, monitor progress, and report into governance forums
- Support development and delivery of change communications
- Partner with Digital and ICT teams to embed change activities within project plans
- Coach senior leaders, managers, and supervisors to effectively support their teams through change
- Contribute to establishing and uplifting change management practices across Council
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in change management across large or complex programs
- Strong knowledge of change management frameworks, tools, and methodologies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to varied audiences
- Proven ability to build relationships and influence at all levels
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify root causes
- Experience working across both waterfall and agile project environments
- Change management certification (desirable)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
