Location: Larapinta, QLD
Pay Rate:$32 per hour + applicable penalty rates
Shifts: Morning and afternoon shifts available across Monday - Saturday
Hours: Approximately 15-25 hours per week
We are currently seeking enthusiastic and reliable Canteen Staff to join a busy onsite team in Larapinta.
This role is ideal for candidates with hospitality, catering, food preparation, or kitchen hand experience who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and delivering excellent customer service. You'll play an important role in providing quality food and beverage services while maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve meals, snacks, and beverages
- Deliver friendly and efficient customer service
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in kitchen and dining areas
- Assist with stock replenishment and inventory management
- Follow food preparation procedures and recipes
- Support team operations during busy service periods
- Ensure all food safety and workplace health and safety requirements are met
- Previous experience in hospitality, catering, kitchen hand, or food service roles
- Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- A commitment to food safety and cleanliness standards
- The ability to work effectively in a busy environment
- Availability to work a minimum of 3 shifts per week across morning and afternoon shifts
