About the Role
As a Contact Centre Officer, you will be responsible for managing inbound customer interactions across multiple channels, including phone, email, and online communications. You will assist customers with enquiries, complaints, and follow-up requests while striving to achieve first-contact resolution wherever possible.
The role involves supporting a diverse customer base, including potentially vulnerable members, requiring empathy, professionalism, and the ability to adapt your communication style to meet individual needs.
About You
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Previous contact centre experience is highly advantageous.
- Strong customer service focus with a genuine desire to help people.
- Confidence engaging with customers and stakeholders, maintaining a professional and friendly phone manner.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Proven ability to manage challenging conversations with professionalism, empathy, and resilience.
- Understanding of the financial services industry is advantageous.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
