Business Support Officer - Dampier

Location: Dampier – Residential Role
Roster: 5:2 then 4:3 RDO | Day Shift
Rate: $38 - $43 per hour flat rate + super
Hours: 7:00am–4:00pm
Assignment Length: 6 months
 
We are seeking a proactive and highly organised  Business Support Officer  to provide essential administrative support across daily site activities, helping to keep things running smoothly. It’s a great fit for someone who enjoys variety in their work, can manage competing priorities, and takes pride in providing quality customer service while working within a supportive team environment.
 
Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative, technical, coaching and mentoring support to operations.
  • Utilise SAP to raise purchase requisitions, manage invoices, and maintain stock levels for PPE, PSGs, crib consumables and stationery
  • Coordinate onsite catering and manage FIFO lunch order processes
  • Assist with site projects, initiatives and events
  • Coordinate the collection and servicing of Personal Flotation Devices (PFDs)
  • Process and manage gate cards, IVMS, fuel keys, cab charges, MSIC cards, contractor recognition vouchers and travel bookings using relevant systems
  • Manage and distribute daily site communications
  • Respond to customer enquiries via the Zoho Desk platform
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders while maintaining a high standard of customer service
  • Consistently apply HSEC systems, processes and procedures
  • Raise maintenance notifications e.g. for light vehicles and infrastructure-related tasks
About You

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
  • Previous experience in an administrative or business support role
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
  • Experience using SAP or similar systems (highly advantageous)
  • High attention to detail and problem-solving capability
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Commitment to safety and compliance standards
