About the Team

You will be part of a collaborative operations and service support team that plays a key role in enabling frontline service delivery.
The team:
  • Provides operational and administrative support across multiple business areas
  • Supports leadership teams with coordination, reporting, and business support activities
  • Works closely with internal and external stakeholders to resolve enquiries and maintain service standards
  • Contributes to continuous improvement and process efficiency across operations
  • Helps ensure staff have the tools, systems, and support required to deliver high-quality services

About the Role

An opportunity exists for an Operations Support Officer to join a dynamic service delivery environment supporting the effective operation of key administrative and coordination functions.
In this role, you will provide high-quality operational and administrative support to ensure smooth day-to-day business operations. Working within established policies and procedures, you will contribute to efficient service delivery outcomes that support participants, staff, and stakeholders.
This position is well suited to someone who is organised, proactive, and confident working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift quickly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate end-to-end travel arrangements, including remote travel requirements
  • Manage and action correspondence, emails, and internal work items within service standards
  • Provide operational and administrative support to leadership and service delivery teams
  • Maintain organisational records including charts, distribution lists, templates, and documentation
  • Support research, analysis, and reporting tasks as required
  • Identify and contribute to process improvement initiatives to improve efficiency
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Assist in resolving moderately complex enquiries using sound judgement and policy understanding
  • Support service delivery teams to achieve high-quality participant and stakeholder outcomes
  • Respond proactively to operational issues and changing priorities

You Must Have
  • Strong administrative and operational support experience in a structured environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
  • Experience working with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work within policy frameworks
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools and general business systems
  • A positive, professional, and participant-focused approach

Benefits:
  • ASAP start (pending Federal Police Clearance)
  • Assignment end date: 31st December 2026 with potential extension
  • Location:  Brisbane QLD and Mt Gravatt QLD.
  • $43.82 hourly + Super
