Working within the Fabrication Workshop, you will be involved in the repair, rebuild and maintenance of critical production equipment in a heavy industrial environment.
What You'll Be Doing
- Repairing and rebuilding reduction cells and associated equipment
- Aluminium and structural steel welding
- Gas cutting and fabrication work
- General workshop maintenance and equipment repairs
- Reading and interpreting drawings
- Working safely within permit and isolation systems
- Contributing to a strong team and safety culture
About You
- Trade Qualified Boilermaker
- Experience in heavy industry, refineries, smelters or fabrication workshops
- Experience with aluminium and structural steel welding
- Gas cutting experience
- Strong commitment to safety
- Comfortable working in physically demanding industrial environments

- Trade Certificate – Boilermaker
- White Card
- Current Working at Heights
- Current Confined Space
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen
Highly Regarded
- Aluminium lancing experience
- Previous BSL, QAL or Yarwun experience
- Dogging (DG)
- Basic Rigging (RB)
- Forklift Licence (LF)
- EWP
- First Aid
