About the role
We're seeking an experienced Boilermaker to join a well-established and growing manufacturing business on an initial 3-month contract with a genuine opportunity to transition to a permanent position.
 
Working Monday to Friday (7:00am – 4:00pm, with an early finish on Fridays), you'll be part of a close-knit team fabricating high-quality trailer chassis, security boxes and canopies. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled tradesperson looking for long-term stability, a supportive workplace, and the chance to further develop their skills.

 
Duties
  • MIG welding and fabrication of trailer chassis, security boxes and canopies.
  • Read and interpret workshop drawings and specifications.
  • Carry out boilermaking and general fabrication work to a high standard.
  • Perform TIG welding on aluminium (advantageous but not essential).
  • Maintain a safe and tidy work environment.
  • Work collaboratively with the workshop team to meet production deadlines.
 

Skills and Experience
  • Trade qualified Boilermaker, or a minimum of 5 years' welding/fabrication experience.
  • Strong MIG welding and fabrication skills.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or workshop environment.
  • TIG aluminium welding experience is highly regarded.
  • Forklift Licence is advantageous but not essential.
  • Reliable, motivated and committed to producing quality workmanship.
