Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented BIM Modeller to join a growing engineering and design team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, managing, and coordinating Building Information Models (BIM) across a range of projects, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with project standards and client requirements.
Working closely with engineers, designers, project managers, consultants, and contractors, the BIM Modeller will play a key role in delivering high-quality digital models, drawings, and project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
BIM Modelling & Documentation
- Develop, maintain, and update 3D BIM models using industry-standard software.
- Produce coordinated project documentation including plans, sections, elevations, schedules, and detailed drawings.
- Ensure all models comply with project BIM Execution Plans (BEP), relevant standards, and client requirements.
- Create, manage, and maintain BIM families, templates, and content libraries.
- Manage model revisions and document control processes.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, consultants, and contractors to ensure model accuracy and coordination.
- Participate in design coordination meetings, clash detection reviews, and project workshops.
- Identify and resolve modelling conflicts, discrepancies, and coordination issues.
- Support multidisciplinary project teams in the delivery of coordinated project outcomes.
- Conduct model audits and quality checks to ensure compliance with project and organisational standards.
- Ensure drawing and model deliverables meet required quality, accuracy, and timeline expectations.
- Assist in the development and continuous improvement of BIM workflows, standards, and best practices.
- Support project teams through planning, design, documentation, and construction phases.
- Generate schedules, quantities, reports, and other project outputs from BIM models as required.
- Provide technical BIM support and guidance to project team members.
- Assist with the implementation of new BIM technologies, digital engineering tools, and innovation initiatives.
- Minimum 2 to 5 years' experience in a BIM Modeller, Revit Modeller, or similar role.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD.
- Experience using Navisworks, BIM 360, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), or similar BIM platforms.
- Strong understanding of BIM standards, methodologies, and documentation requirements.
- Experience working on multidisciplinary engineering, building services, or construction projects.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
- Diploma, Advanced Diploma, or Degree in Engineering, Building Design, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- Knowledge of Australian design and construction standards.
- Experience with clash detection, model coordination, and constructability reviews.
- Background in building services, engineering drafting, plumbing design, or related technical disciplines.
- Strong technical BIM modelling and documentation skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
- High degree of accuracy, organisation, and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.

Based in Western Australia, with work undertaken from office locations and project sites as required. Travel may be required to support project delivery and stakeholder engagement.
