Are you a driven recruitment leader with experience in industrial or high-volume workforce solutions? Chandler Macleod is seeking an experienced Associate Manager to lead and grow a high-performing team within our Industrial Portfolio.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you will balance people leadership, client engagement, recruitment delivery, and commercial performance while fostering a safe, compliant, and values-driven culture.

About the Role

Reporting to the Unit Manager, the Associate Manager is responsible for leading Recruitment Consultants, Account Managers, and Administration Support staff within the Industrial Portfolio.
You will ensure efficient, compliant, and profitable delivery of industrial recruitment solutions, while maintaining strong client partnerships and driving continuous improvement across the portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
 
  • Lead, coach, and motivate team members to achieve and exceed individual and team KPIs.
  • Provide strong safety leadership across industrial client environments.
  • Apply the Chandler Macleod Risk Management Framework to all activities.
  • Ensure compliance with Chandler Macleod policies, WHS requirements, and QA standards.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and service reviews.
  • Identify new business opportunities and grow existing industrial client accounts.
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment delivery, from job brief through to offer and placement.
  • Promote training, development, and capability uplift across the team.
  • Identify process inefficiencies, logging non-conformance and business improvement ideas.
  • Represent Chandler Macleod at industry and networking events relevant to the industrial sector.

About You
You will bring:
 
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a leadership or senior role within a customer-focused, target-driven environment (industrial recruitment, labour hire, call centre, retail, property, or similar).
  • Strong leadership capability with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop teams.
  • Proven commercial acumen with experience managing targets and budgets.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • High attention to detail and strong commitment to compliance and safety.
  • Confidence using CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to identify growth opportunities and contribute to business development.
  • Experience working collaboratively within a matrix-structured organisation.
