- Perform field inspections and infrastructure condition monitoring
- Collect, process, and analyse asset condition data for reporting
- Support and operate CCTV pipeline inspection systems and software
- Perform Non-Destructive Testing (NDT)
including:
- Ultrasonic Thickness (UT)
- Dry Film Thickness (DFT)
- Pulsed Eddy Current (PEC)
- Assist with inspection planning and scheduling
- Analyse data from ROVs, drones, inspection technologies, and laboratory results
- Prepare detailed asset condition and inspection reports
- Conduct testing on materials including steel, concrete, cast iron, asbestos cement, and soil
- Work safely in field environments, confined spaces, and at heights
- Diploma in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline
- Experience or knowledge in asset condition assessment, inspection, or asset integrity
- Understanding of corrosion, structural performance, or infrastructure assets
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Exposure to NDT techniques or inspection technologies(desirable)
- Current C-Class Driver’s Licence
- Background in water utilities, infrastructure, or asset management
- Experience with CCTV pipeline inspection software and systems
- Knowledge of asset lifecycle management or reliability engineering
