Chandler Macleod is recruiting on behalf of our client for an APS5 Decision Coordination Officer, where your expertise will play a vital role in ensuring informed and effective outcomes across key projects. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to impactful government work, coordinating complex decisions with precision and professionalism. This role is a full time 12 month Maximum term contract based in Canberra.
As an APS 5 Decision Coordination Officer, you will be at the forefront of managing and streamlining decision-making frameworks within a fast-paced environment. Your responsibilities will involve coordinating stakeholder input, analyzing information, preparing reports, and ensuring decisions align with organizational objectives and policies. Required Skills:
- Proven ability to coordinate and support decision-making processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- High attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to interpret complex information and prepare comprehensive reports
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant tools
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Experience working within government or similar regulated environments
- Knowledge of policy development and implementation
- Familiarity with project management methodologies
- Strong stakeholder engagement experience
- Advanced skills in data analysis and presentation
- Tertiary qualification in Public Administration, Policy, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in decision support, coordination, or a similar role within a government context
