We're seeking an experienced Principal Service Delivery Officer – Projects to support the delivery of strategic business improvement initiatives, operational frameworks, and service delivery enhancements within a complex government environment.
This opportunity is ideal for a highly organised project professional with exceptional policy and procedural writing capability, strong stakeholder engagement skills, and previous State Government experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver service delivery and business improvement projects.
- Develop and refine policies, procedures, guidelines, frameworks, templates, and operational resources.
- Support the implementation and continuous improvement of service provider partnership frameworks.
- Provide expert advice on service delivery processes, governance requirements, and operational practices.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive successful project outcomes.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and implement practical, sustainable solutions.
- Ensure project activities align with legislative, policy, and governance requirements.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience working within a State Government agency.
- Demonstrated project management experience.
- Exceptional written communication skills with the ability to develop:
- Policies
- Guidelines
- Procedures
- Frameworks
- Governance documentation
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management capabilities.
- Proven experience delivering business improvement and operational enhancement initiatives.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including:
- Word
- Excel
- PowerPoint
Highly Regarded
- Relevant tertiary qualifications.
- Experience within service delivery, health, disability, insurance, or other regulated environments.
