This is a unique opportunity to influence long-term community outcomes while partnering with contractors, government stakeholders, First Nations businesses, social enterprises, and local industry. In this senior advisory role, you will shape and oversee strategies that maximise local participation, strengthen community relationships, and ensure social outcomes commitments are successfully delivered across complex project environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary contact for all social outcomes initiatives, reporting, and stakeholder engagement
  • Monitor and report on project performance against social outcomes and local benefit commitments
  • Partner with contractors to develop solutions and strategies that support delivery outcomes
  • Facilitate workshops and stakeholder meetings to drive alignment and accountability
  • Identify emerging risks, trends, and opportunities impacting social outcomes delivery
  • Support communications and engagement activities promoting community and local business opportunities
  • Build strong relationships across government, industry, and community sectors
  • Provide high-level strategic advice to senior leadership on social outcomes and stakeholder management

About You
You are a collaborative and commercially aware professional with strong stakeholder engagement skills and experience delivering social impact initiatives within complex project environments.
You will ideally bring:
  • Degree qualifications in business, social science, communications, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience
  • Experience in social procurement and social outcomes delivery
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and reporting capability, including data analysis and reporting tools such as Power BI
  • Previous experience supporting major infrastructure, transport, or government projects
  • Strong analytical, communication, and governance skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and navigate multi-stakeholder environments effectively

Additional Requirements
  • Current driver’s licence
  • Ability to complete a criminal history check prior to commencement
This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a high-profile Queensland project that will create lasting benefits for communities, local businesses, and future generations.
