Join a busy in-house legal team where you'll manage conveyancing and probate matters, work closely with legal professionals, and contribute to the delivery of high-quality services to Queenslanders.
We're seeking an experienced Paralegal with strong conveyancing expertise to support a high-performing legal services team within a respected Queensland Government organisation.
The Opportunity
As part of a collaborative legal team, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of legal services across a range of property and estate-related matters.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing residential and commercial conveyancing matters from commencement through to settlement
- Preparing and coordinating probate applications and related documentation
- Drafting legal correspondence and contracts
- Conducting property and title searches
- Managing legal files and maintaining accurate records
- Liaising with clients, legal professionals, government agencies and other stakeholders
- Supporting lawyers with property and probate-related matters as required
- Ensuring deadlines are met and matters are progressed efficiently
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience working as a Paralegal
- Strong end-to-end conveyancing experience
- Experience using PEXA
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- The ability to manage multiple matters and competing priorities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A professional and customer-focused approach
- Probate experience will be highly regarded but is not essential
