AO4 Finance Officer | Buderim | $60.06–$65.81 per hour + Super

Our client is seeking an experienced AO4 Finance Officer to join their collaborative finance team based in Buderim. This contract opportunity will see you supporting the financial administration of a large portfolio of civil infrastructure projects while partnering closely with Project Managers and key stakeholders.

About the Role

As the Finance Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring the accurate financial administration of major infrastructure projects, providing financial support, processing transactions and maintaining governance across project finances.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and process financial approvals and documentation
  • Process journals, timesheet journals and financial transactions
  • Complete contract reconciliations and governance checks
  • Review project cost requests and financial information
  • Liaise with Project Managers regarding financial requirements
  • Maintain financial registers using Excel and SharePoint
  • Follow up outstanding actions and ensure deadlines are met
  • Provide accurate financial administration and support across multiple projects
About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:
  • Previous experience in a Finance Officer, Accounts Officer or Project Finance position
  • Strong reconciliation, journal and general ledger experience
  • Advanced attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Experience within government, construction, engineering or project environments will be highly regarded.
