Our client is seeking an experienced AO4 Finance Officer to join their collaborative finance team based in Buderim. This contract opportunity will see you supporting the financial administration of a large portfolio of civil infrastructure projects while partnering closely with Project Managers and key stakeholders.

As the Finance Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring the accurate financial administration of major infrastructure projects, providing financial support, processing transactions and maintaining governance across project finances.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and process financial approvals and documentation
- Process journals, timesheet journals and financial transactions
- Complete contract reconciliations and governance checks
- Review project cost requests and financial information
- Liaise with Project Managers regarding financial requirements
- Maintain financial registers using Excel and SharePoint
- Follow up outstanding actions and ensure deadlines are met
- Provide accurate financial administration and support across multiple projects
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience in a Finance Officer, Accounts Officer or Project Finance position
- Strong reconciliation, journal and general ledger experience
- Advanced attention to detail and organisational skills
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
