Digger Productivity Analyst
Tier 1 Iron Ore Miner | Perth Head Office | 12-Month Contract
Turn data into real performance on site.

We’re partnering with a major Tier 1 iron ore producer to find a high-calibre Analyst to support a flagship Digger Productivity Program. This is a unique opportunity to influence frontline performance at scale, combining data, coaching insight, and operational reality.

The Opportunity
Working across both corporate and site environments, you will translate operational data into meaningful actions that drive measurable productivity improvements across the digger fleet.

Role Details
  • Location:  Perth Head Office (premium CBD environment)
  • Travel:  Occasional site travel across WA operations (approximately 2–3 days per month)
  • Hours:  Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week (overtime available during site travel)
  • Contract:  12-month initial term
  • Remuneration:  Competitive hourly rate, weekly pay cycle and super on all hours

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and performance reporting across multiple sites
  • Deliver operator-level analytics to support targeted coaching interventions
  • Analyse excavator performance metrics (dig rates, cycle times, variability) to identify improvement opportunities
  • Support playback and review sessions with operations and coaching teams
  • Contribute to baseline setting and program tracking to measure performance uplift
  • Enhance and evolve reporting tools and visualisations to maximise impact and usability

About You
You are an analytically strong professional who can bridge the gap between data and operations, turning insights into actionable outcomes.
  • Experience working with operational or production data
  • Strong capability in Power BI, Excel, or similar tools
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear, practical insights for frontline teams
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work across technical and operational groups
  • Exposure to mining operations, load and haul systems, or fleet performance analysis is highly regarded

Contractor Benefits
This role offers access to:
  • Weekly pay cycle for consistent cash flow
  • Superannuation paid on all hours worked
  • Overtime opportunities during site travel periods
  • Access to an Employee Assistance Program(EAP)
  • Dedicated consultant support throughout your contract
  • A professional working environment within a leading Tier 1 operator’s Perth CBD office
  • The opportunity to build experience within a high-performing, large-scale operational environment

Why This Role?
  • Contribute to a high-impact productivity program within a Tier 1 mining operation
  • Work at the intersection of data, operations, and frontline performance
  • Influence real-world outcomes, not just reporting outputs
  • Gain exposure to fleet optimisation at scale, enhancing your long-term career trajectory

If you are looking for a role where your analysis directly drives operational improvement, this is an opportunity worth exploring.
