An opportunity has become available for an Accounts Receivable Officer to join a well-established organisation within the industrial sector. Based in Wollongong CBD, this permanent position offers the chance to join a stable finance team in a busy, high-volume environment.

This role has become available due to an upcoming departure within the team and will play an important role supporting the Credit Controller across a broad range of Accounts Receivable and credit-related activities.

About the Role

Reporting into the finance team, you will support the day-to-day Accounts Receivable function while assisting with credit administration and customer account maintenance. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys transactional finance, thrives in a high-volume environment, and takes pride in accuracy and attention to detail.
Strong performers will have the opportunity to broaden their exposure across additional finance functions over time.

Key Responsibilities
Accounts Receivable & Credit Support
  • Process and allocate customer payments
  • Reconcile customer accounts and investigate discrepancies
  • Prepare monthly statements and credit notes
  • Support credit applications and credit limit reviews
  • Assist with PPSR and ALLPAAP registrations
  • Maintain customer master data records
  • Monitor and action alerts
  • Support collection activities and customer account enquiries
  • Assist with reporting and general finance administration
Additional Exposure
  • Accounts Payable relief support
  • General finance administration duties
  • Additional reconciliations and team support activities

About You
To be successful, you will ideally bring:
  • Previous Accounts Receivable experience
  • Experience within a high-volume transactional environment
  • Strong reconciliation skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
  • Exposure to credit support or credit administration advantageous
  • A positive, reliable and team-focused attitude
