Accounts Payable Officer

A permanent opportunity is now available for an Accounts Payable Officer to join the finance team in a role that offers variety, autonomy, and long-term stability.

The Role

Reporting to the Director, you will take ownership of the accounts payable function while also supporting with some accounts receivable tasks. This is a well-rounded role suited to someone who understands how finance integrates with broader project and operational workflows within a construction environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-end accounts payable processing
  • Managing supplier invoices, reconciliations, and payments
  • Assisting with accounts receivable, including invoicing and payment follow-ups
  • Maintaining accurate financial records and supporting month-end processes
  • Liaising with internal teams (including project staff) and external suppliers
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
About You
  • Previous experience in an Accounts Payable role (construction or similar industry highly regarded)
  • Exposure to accounts receivable processes
  • Experience with JobPac (or similar ERP/CRM systems) is highly desirable
  • Strong understanding of how accounts processes support project and business operations
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • A team-focused approach with excellent communication skills
