GL class locomotive experience is desirable, with site-based familiarisation available for suitably qualified candidates.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate locomotives in line with rail, site, and safety procedures
- Shunting and wagon movements
- Changing rail switches and hosing down ore wagons
- Routine inspections and general rail duties
- Compliance with all safety, environmental, and operational requirements
- Certificate IV in Train Driving
- Current Category 1 Rail Medical
- Ability to pass site medical, drug & alcohol, and background checks
- Strong safety focus and ability to work on a remote site
