About the role
We are seeking an experienced Supply Planner to support day-to-day distribution and planning activities across Australia and New Zealand. This is a coordination-heavy role suited to someone with at least 2+ years of supply planning or inventory management experience who can work independently and manage operational planning tasks with minimal supervision.
While the role does not manage the full end-to-end supply chain, the successful candidate will play a key role in monitoring supply performance, identifying issues, and escalating risks appropriately to ensure product availability across the region.
Key Responsibilities
Distribution & Supply Planning
- Coordinate distribution planning across Australia and New Zealand, ensuring timely product availability.
- Conduct weekly stock availability checks and support ongoing supply continuity.
- Monitor and manage damaged goods, expired stock, and re-certification requirements.
- Support demand review and supply planning cycles through data preparation and analysis.
- Extract, analyse, and interpret supply and inventory data.
- Generate operational reports and investigate stock or planning discrepancies.
- Provide insights to support planning decisions and supply continuity improvements.
- Participate in monthly finance meetings supporting planning alignment.
- Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders across supply chain, finance, and operations.
- Escalate risks or supply constraints appropriately.
- Work extensively within SAP(inventory management, procurement, and planning modules preferred).
- Support occasional invoice or purchase order activities where required.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of planning processes and reporting accuracy.
Skills & Experience Required
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in supply planning, inventory management, or similar coordination-focused roles.
- Strong experience in distribution planning and inventory monitoring.
- Exposure to SAP(inventory, procurement, or planning modules highly desirable).
- Experience within chemicals, pharmaceuticals, or regulated industries highly regarded.
- Strong analytical capability with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.
