Senior Civil Engineer Project: Pinjarra & Wagerup Tailings & Water Storage Dams Projects
Role Purpose A fantastic opportunity for a Senior Civil Engineer to play a critical leadership role across major tailings, dam, and water storage infrastructure projects in Western Australia.
You will provide civil engineering leadership and technical assurance across dam construction, pond reconfiguration, embankments, and bulk earthworks. Working within a live operating environment, this role ensures civil engineering design outputs meet stringent safety, quality, and operational requirements, including compliance with ANCOLD guidelines.
Contract & Location
- Rate:$110 – $130 per hour + super
- Contract: 12 months | 40 hours per week
- Location: Flexible base at Booragoon, Pinjarra, or Wagerup
- Site Travel: 1–2 days per week on average

Key Responsibilities
- Provide civil engineering design assurance and technical review
- Support engineering governance in line with dam safety and ANCOLD requirements
- Contribute to the design and delivery of tailings storage facilities, water ponds, and bulk earthworks
- Interface with multi‑disciplinary engineering teams to ensure integrated design outcomes
- Support project delivery within live operational constraints
- Bachelor of Civil Engineering (Washington Accord recognised)
- 7+ years’ experience in civil engineering roles
- Strong background in engineering design and design management
- Experience with tailings facilities, dams, water infrastructure, or bulk earthworks highly desirable
- Background in mining, mineral processing, or heavy industrial environments preferred
- Must be residing in / and have full work rights to work in Australia
