Experienced Scraper Operators to join Rio Tinto in their Weipa Operations. This role offers a 7 days on / 7 days off roster, FIFO from Queensland hubs, competitive rates, and ongoing work. You will be responsible for operating Scrapers and other equipment completing bulk earthworks while maintaining strong safety and performance standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operation of scrapers (CAT or similar)
  • Daily pre‑starts and routine equipment checks
  • Meeting production targets
  • Following site safety systems and procedures
  • Working effectively within a team environment
About You
  • Proven experience operating scrapers on mining or large‑scale civil projects
  • Current RII Scraper ticket (or equivalent)
  • White Card
  • Strong commitment to safety
  • Ability to pass pre‑employment medical & D&A
