Chandler Macleod is recruiting on behalf of a leading energy technology organisation that delivers power quality and grid monitoring solutions to utilities and industrial customers across Australia.
This is a permanent full time opportunity based in Sydney, offering a hybrid working model with a couple of days each week working from home.
The Role You will be responsible for managing end to end technical sales engagements, working closely with utility, infrastructure and industrial clients. The role combines solution design, commercial negotiation and customer engagement across power quality monitoring, grid compliance and energy analytics solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full sales lifecycle from prospecting through to close
- Lead technical discussions with utilities and industrial customers
- Design and scope tailored monitoring and compliance solutions
- Prepare proposals, tenders and technical documentation
- Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver fit for purpose outcomes
- Represent the business at client meetings and industry events
- Background in technical sales, applications engineering or pre sales
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, power quality or grid monitoring
- Experience working with utilities, industrial clients or EPCs
- Confident communicator able to engage technical and commercial stakeholders
- Based in Sydney with willingness to travel as required
