About the Role

As a Sales Consultant, you’ll be a trusted point of contact for new and existing residential customers. You’ll deliver exceptional service while identifying sales opportunities and promoting EnergyAustralia products and services that best suit each customer’s needs. This role suits someone who enjoys consultative selling, thrives in a fast-paced contact centre environment, and is motivated by performance and results.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Responding to inbound sales-driven calls (with some outbound activity and callbacks)
• Proactively upselling and cross-selling EnergyAustralia products and services
• Engaging customers using empathy and active listening
• Tailoring solutions to drive conversion
• Handling objections confidently and promoting value-based outcomes
• Meeting sales and conversion targets
• Using multiple systems to manage customer information
• Ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory standards
• Managing schedules, breaks and call flows
• Participating in coaching and team development What You’ll Bring
• Experience in sales, retail or customer service
• Ability to meet sales KPIs
• Strong communication and rapport-building skills
• Confidence in objection handling
• High attention to detail
• A learning mindset and resilience
• Strong computer skills and CRM experience

Non‑Negotiables for This Role

• Commence Monday 25th May 2026 for a 6-week training block in Melbourne CBD (Monday–Friday)
• Post-training hybrid work model (Thursdays and one additional office day per week)
• No leave planned for the first 3–6 months
• Full-time rotating roster Monday–Friday between, 7am and 9pm
