About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Reliability Engineer to join our Asset Management team supporting our client in the mining sector. This is a senior-level opportunity focused on Precision Maintenance and Asset Reliability, where your expertise will directly contribute to improving asset performance, reducing downtime, and driving long-term operational efficiency.
You’ll be part of a small, high-performing team deployed on-site, working closely with the client to solve complex asset challenges and embed best-practice maintenance strategies.
This is a Drive-In, Drive-Out (DIDO) role based in Boddington, offering an immediate start on a 12-month contract.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and implement precision maintenance programs across heavy mining assets
- Apply advanced techniques in alignment, balancing, lubrication, and vibration analysis
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA), FMEA, and reliability-centred maintenance (RCM)
- Partner with the client’s site teams and contractors to embed a precision maintenance culture
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to maintenance personnel
- Deliver measurable improvements in asset performance, safety, and cost efficiency
- Significant experience in heavy industry (mining, energy, or contracting environments)
- Proven expertise in Precision Maintenance (essential)
- Strong background in mechanical maintenance and reliability engineering
- Experience in maintenance strategy development, optimisation, and continuous improvement
- Hands-on field experience prior to moving into engineering or asset management roles
- Ability to work autonomously within small, agile teams
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Work with a globally recognised organisation delivering asset management solutions across critical industries
