We are seeking an experienced Recruitment Consultant to join our team on an 8-month fixed-term contract, covering a maternity leave vacancy. Based in Wetherill Park, this role focuses on placing candidates facing barriers to employment into blue collar roles.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a hands-on, fast-paced role, managing high-volume vacancies with quick turnaround times. You will partner closely with Inclusive Employment Australia and Workforce Australia providers to meet demands whilst supporting candidates into sustainable employment outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
- End-to-end recruitment (sourcing, screening, onboarding, and placement)
- High-volume candidate management and talent pooling
- Coordinating pre-employment checks, inductions, and job commencements
- Supporting candidates with barriers to employment throughout the recruitment including post placement support
ABOUT YOU
You are an organised, outcomes-driven recruiter who thrives in a high-volume environment and understands operational recruitment demands. You are motivated by making a genuine social impact while delivering results.
You will bring:
- Proven experience in recruitment.
- Ability to manage multiple vacancies and competing priorities
- Strong employer and candidate relationship-management skills
- Clear communication and strong organisational capabilities
HIGHLY DESIRABLE
Experience working within IEA (Inclusive Employment Australia) and/or WFA (Workforce Australia)
Knowledge of government-funded employment programs and compliance requirements
