About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Administration Officer to join our Information Management team. In this role, you will provide essential records management support, ensuring compliance with the NSW State Records Act 1998 and contributing to the effective management of information across its lifecycle.
Working closely with the Team Leader, Records Management, you will play a key role in maintaining accurate, accessible, and compliant records while supporting ongoing information management projects and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver accurate and timely records management services including filing, sorting, scanning, archiving, and document handling
  • Manage physical and digital records, including packing, indexing, and storage coordination
  • Update and maintain records and metadata within OpenText Content Manager (TRIM) and other systems
  • Ensure records are correctly classified, stored, and easily retrievable
  • Perform general administrative tasks including purchasing and record movement coordination
  • Support system upgrades, digitisation programs, and broader information management initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and records management standards
About You
  • Proven experience in records management or a similar administrative role
  • Experience using electronic document and records management systems (EDRMS), ideally OpenText Content Manager (TRIM)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling large volumes of data
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive approach
Desirable
  • Knowledge of the NSW State Records Act 1998
  • Experience working within government or a regulated environment
  • Exposure to information management projects or system upgrades
