Location: Perth – Central Park
Roster: 5:2 | Day Shift
Rate:$50 - $60 per hour flat rate + super
Hours: 40 hours per week
Preferred hours: 8:30am–5:00pm
Employment Type: Perth‑based 
Travel: Occasional site travel


About the Role
We are seeking an efficient and motivated Projects Administrator with a proactive, can‑do attitude to join a newly established Project Services team. Reporting to the Superintendent Project Services, this role plays a critical part in supporting the successful delivery of multiple projects by ensuring all administrative activities run smoothly during the execution phase.

Key Responsibilities
  • Raise purchase requisitions, manage invoice receipting and process payments
  • Coordinate mobilisation, travel and accommodation through Rio Tinto booking systems
  • Provide portfolio‑wide administrative support across multiple projects
  • Support standardisation and continuous improvement of RTIO systems
  • Assist Project Delivery and Project Controls teams with:
    • SharePoint administration
    • PowerPoint presentations
    • Monthly reporting
  • Data entry and document control
  • Provide general project‑related administrative support as required

About You
  • Demonstrates and encourages respectful behaviours aligned with RTIO values of Care, Courage and Curiosity
  • Experience with SAP (desirable but not essential)
  • Intermediate proficiency across the Microsoft Office suite
  • Willingness to learn and develop, including supporting Cost Analysts and assisting with Power BI reporting
  • Strong communication skills and confidence engaging with multiple stakeholders
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to adapt, prioritise and problem‑solve in a project environment
  • Proactive, shows initiative and takes ownership of deliverables
  • Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on improving project documentation and processes
