About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support a large‑scale decarbonisation infrastructure program at a major iron ore operation in Western Australia. This project forms part of one of the largest dewatering and electrification programs globally and plays a critical role in transitioning mining operations away from diesel power to fixed electrical infrastructure supplied by renewable energy sources.
Based in Perth CBD, the role will involve close collaboration with site stakeholders and occasional visits to the operation to ensure successful project delivery with minimal impact to production.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the delivery of multiple electrical infrastructure projects aligned to mine decarbonisation targets
  • Manage the replacement of mobile diesel generation with fixed electrical solutions across various mining assets
  • Develop detailed scopes of work for asset‑specific electrification solutions
  • Take projects through full lifecycle delivery, from scope development and market engagement through execution and handover
  • Coordinate schedules to align changeovers with operational requirements and minimise disruption
  • Engage contractors, engineers, and internal stakeholders to ensure safe, compliant, and high‑quality outcomes
  • Apply strong project governance, cost control, and scheduling discipline

Technical & Experience Requirements
  • Strong background in electrical NPI infrastructure within mining or heavy industrial environments
  • Demonstrated experience with:
    • 33kV infrastructure
    • Substations ranging from 6.6kV to 415V
    • HV/LV protection schemes
    • Electrification of mobile or semi‑mobile assets
  • Ability to design and deliver repeatable infrastructure solutions across multiple assets
  • Solid understanding of HV installations, commissioning, and construction best practice
  • Experience in underground mining environments is advantageous

About You
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in the mining industry
  • At least 3 years’ experience working in NPI and high‑voltage electrical projects
  • Strong attention to detail and solutions‑focused mindset
  • Confident communicator with the ability to manage complex stakeholder interfaces
  • Electrical trade background with progression into project or leadership roles is highly regarded

Why Consider This Opportunity
  • Be part of a tier‑one decarbonisation initiative with long‑term impact
  • Work on technically complex, high‑profile electrical infrastructure projects
  • Perth‑based role with exposure to site delivery
  • Long‑term position supporting major capital works
