Project: Pinjarra & Wagerup – Tailings & Water Storage Dams
Role Purpose An outstanding opportunity for a senior Project Engineering Manager to lead engineering delivery across large‑scale tailings, dam, and water storage infrastructure projects in Western Australia.
You will provide engineering leadership and governance across multiple concurrent sustaining capital projects, ensuring delivery in line with ANCOLD requirements, internal engineering standards, and the constraints of live refinery operations. This role suits an experienced engineering leader with strong technical judgement and stakeholder engagement capability.
Contract & Location
- Rate:$130 – $150 per hour + super
- Contract: 12 months | 40 hours per week
- Location: Flexible base at Booragoon, Pinjarra, or Wagerup
- Site Travel: 1–2 days per week
- Work from Home: Typically 1 day per week

Key Responsibilities
- Provide engineering governance across multiple sustaining capital projects
- Lead and manage multi‑disciplinary engineering teams and service providers
- Ensure compliant dam, tailings, and water storage design in line with ANCOLD
- Integrate engineering and construction sequencing within live operational environments
- Oversee engineering design management and assurance
- Coordinate interfaces between dam design, water infrastructure, and operations
- Bachelor of Engineering (Civil preferred, Washington Accord recognised)
- 10+ years’ engineering experience, including 5+ years in design management
- Proven experience with ANCOLD dam design requirements
- Background in mining, mineral processing, or heavy industrial environments
- Strong leadership, coordination, and stakeholder management skills
- Must be residing in / and have full work rights to work in Australia
