Procurement SCM Specialist
Collingwood Location | $60 per hour + super | ASAP start to 9 August

We’re currently seeking an experienced Procurement SCM Specialist to join a local government organisation on a short-term contract, with an immediate start through to 9 August.
This role will play a key part in supporting an ERP project as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Supply Chain Management, before transitioning into a data-focused piece of work involving contract review and migration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the SCM Subject Matter Expert for an ERP implementation project, ensuring continuity and supporting delivery outcomes
  • Work closely with the Product Owner and project team on system configuration, testing, and issue resolution
  • Provide expert advice on procurement and supply chain processes within an ERP environment
  • Review, cleanse, and validate contract data across 500+ records ahead of system migration
  • Support data migration from Open Windows to TechOne CiA, ensuring accuracy and alignment with financial systems
  • Identify and resolve data discrepancies in collaboration with procurement, finance, and project stakeholders
  • Support tender processes and general procurement activities as required
About You
  • Demonstrated knowledge of contract management and end-to-end procurement processes, including governance, compliance, and lifecycle management
  • Proven experience with contract management systems (preferably Open Windows) and enterprise accounting systems, with strong emphasis on TechOne CiA, particularly within SCM modules
  • Strong change management capability, including supporting business transition to TechOne CiA and assisting stakeholders through system and process change
  • Strong experience across procurement, contract management, and supply chain processes
  • High attention to detail, particularly in data validation and system migration activities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
  • Confident engaging with a range of stakeholders across project and business teams
  • Able to work independently and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

This is a great opportunity to be involved in a critical ERP transition project while contributing to key procurement and contract management functions.

Please note, only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
