We’re seeking a People & Culture Officer to deliver high‑quality, customer‑focused HR support in a busy and values‑driven organisation. This temporary full‑time opportunity is ideal for an early‑career HR professional ready to build practical experience.

The Role
You’ll play a key role in the day‑to‑day delivery of People & Culture services by:
  • Providing responsive operational HR support to leaders and employees
  • Coordinating onboarding activities to ensure new starters feel welcomed and supported
  • Delivering first‑level advice on People & Culture policies, procedures and employment matters
  • Supporting People & Culture processes, meetings, events and activities across multiple workstreams
  • Acting as the primary contact for HR procurement and finance processes, including invoice coordination
  • Maintaining accurate records and supporting HR systems and reporting
About You
You’re organised, professional and enjoy supporting people. You’ll bring:
  • Approximately 2–3 years’ experience in an operational People & Culture or HR role
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resources(completed or near completion)
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine customer‑service mindset
  • Excellent organisation skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • High attention to detail and discretion when handling confidential information
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office and exposure to HR information systems
Experience in a unionised environment is highly regarded but not essential.
