Essential Requirements (Both Roles)
- Full working rights in Australia
- Current driver’s licence and own reliable transport
- Strong attention to detail and focus on safe work practices
- Sound understanding of OH&S and environmental policies
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate clearly
- Basic computer and reporting skills
- Availability for full-time work (including weekends and overtime where required)
To be considered, you or anyone in your household must not currently work in a poultry processing environment.
Pellet Mill Operator Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in manufacturing (feed or similar industry preferred)
- Experience operating pelleting mills, hammermills, or grinding processes
- Forklift licence (LF)
- Ability to manage production output and coordinate outloading
- Experience conducting QA checks (including pellet size and quality compliance)
- Strong record-keeping and inventory reporting skills
- Willingness to participate in hygiene, sanitation, and routine maintenance activities
- Competitive rate of $43 + penalties
- Availability for rotating shifts starting at 7am or 7pm
- BI boiler licence
Maintenance Fitter Requirements
- Cert III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade
- Proven experience in a manufacturing or industrial maintenance environment
- Confined Space ticket
- First Aid / CPR
- High Risk Licence (LF)
- Ability to perform preventative and reactive maintenance
- Strong fault-finding and equipment repair skills
- Experience working within permit systems and safety procedures
- competive rate of $45 - $50ph
- Experience in food or animal feed manufacturing environments
